Movie Reviews (2014)

Movies of the month don’t technically need to have come out in that month, but rather when we FIRST saw them. If a movie came out around December however and could effect it being in which year we will be more accurate. However if a movie comes out in March and we watch it in April at the cheap seats or for rent we will include it in April's movies of that month as that is when we saw it. If we however are seeing an old movie (such as the original Les Miserables) for the first time we will not include it at all in the MOVIES OF THE YEAR, but will however include it in the “You Have to see this” if it gets above an 80%, "Good For A Rainy Day" if its between 70-80% or in “Yeah, We Watched That…” if it got a score under 70%.

When we go see a movie we mark down what we expect the grade to be. After watching, we grade the movie using our grading scheme- that is how we get the "actual" grade. If the actual grade is less than 60% it gets a No, 70-80% So So, 80-90% Go and greater than 90% Must Go. Depending on how the actual grade compares with the expected grade we will mark it as a let down, as expected, or pleasantly surprised.

To read our reviews, click the "Actual" picture and it will open a word documents with our thoughts!
